Privacy Statement
Controller
Responsible for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is OpenCompany GmbH, Müllackerstrasse 10, 8152 Glattbrugg, Switzerland.
General
Protecting your data is important to us. This website does not use cookies, tracking, or analytics services. Beyond the cases described below, no personal data is collected.
Server Logs
When the website is accessed, the hosting provider records technically necessary data in so-called server log files (in particular IP address, time of access, requested URL, referrer, user agent). This data is used exclusively to ensure operation, for error analysis, and to defend against attacks. It is not combined with other data sources. Logs are deleted after a maximum of 30 days, unless security-relevant incidents require longer retention.
Contact
If you contact us by email, your details (name, contact information, content of the message) are stored to process the request. The legal basis is pre-contractual relations or our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry. This data is not shared with third parties and is deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose, but no later than after the expiry of statutory retention periods (generally 10 years for business correspondence).
External Services
This website does not embed external content from third-party providers. Fonts (Space Grotesk, Newsreader, JetBrains Mono) and icons are served exclusively from our own server. No IP address is transmitted to content delivery networks or other third-party services; in particular, no data is transmitted abroad for this purpose.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hallo@opencompany.swiss.
Right to Complain
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch). Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority of your country of residence.
Changes to this Privacy Statement
We reserve the right to adjust this privacy statement to reflect changes in legal requirements or services. The version published on this page is authoritative.
